How does the AI skin analysis work?
GlowUp uses advanced AI technology to analyze photos of your face. The AI identifies skin concerns, tracks changes over time, and helps generate personalized skincare routines. Simply take a clear, well-lit photo of your face when prompted.
Is my data and photos secure?
Yes! Your privacy is our top priority. All data is encrypted, photos are stored securely, and we never share your personal information with third parties for advertising. You can delete your data at any time through the app settings.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions can be managed through your Apple ID settings. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone, find GlowUp, and select Cancel Subscription. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account and all associated data from the Profile section in the app. Go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Why isn't my streak updating?
Streaks are updated when you complete your daily routine tasks. Make sure you've checked off all your morning and evening routine items for the day. Streaks reset if you miss a full day.
The AI analysis seems inaccurate. What should I do?
For best results, take photos in good lighting, ensure your face is clearly visible, and avoid heavy makeup or filters. The AI improves as it learns from your progress photos over time. Remember, AI analysis is for guidance only and not a substitute for professional dermatological advice.
How do I enable/disable notifications?
You can manage notification preferences in the app's Profile > Settings > Notifications section. You can also manage app notifications through your iPhone's Settings > Notifications > GlowUp.
